Lessons and Courses

At Chapelton we provide tuition for all abilities ranging from beginners to advanced. We cater for riders from the age of four and upwards as well as disabled riders. We have a 14 stone weight limit which is strictly adhered to. Riding hats and boots are provided free of charge, you are welcome to wear your own hat but current British Safety Standards apply. We require 24 hours notice of cancellation or the full fee is payable. Vouchers are available if you wish to give riding or stable management lessons as a gift. When you purchase a group of 10 lessons you will receive the 11th free. Lessons are available during the following hours Mon - closed Tue - 1-6pm Wed - Sun - 10-6pm A rider registration form must be completed before you can ride. Private Lessons Private lessons in Show jumping and Dressage are available. £20 for ½ hour £40 for 1 hour
Group lessons Groups of 2-3 1/2 hr - £17 per person, 1 hour - £34 per person Groups of 4-6 1/2 hr - £15 per person, 1 hour - £30 per person	A 'Saddle Club' group lesson
Lunge lessons These lessons prove to be excellent in developing ‘feel’ and balance and allow the horse to work independently.  £20 for ½ hour
Saddle Club – every Saturday morning Catering for younger children, age 6yrs and upwards, our ‘Saddle Club’ is great fun. The children are tutored in riding and stable management allowing them to experience the real joy of horses. £20 per session Pony Birthday Parties A fun filled birthday party for children, which includes riding and grooming the ponies.
